Based on its proprietary Si3D technology, Nanolex Car Care offers a range of products specifically designed to meet the highest demands and needs of professional customers. The Si3D molecules are precursors of ceramic and hybrid materials. They consist of silicon, nitrogen and hydrogen as well as organic components such as carbon. These extremely high-performance polymers have a low viscosity and are fluorine and solvent-free.
An additional thermoplastic component used forms a highly hydrophobic, flexible, cross-linked matrix coating that has exceptional hardness, weatherability and resistance to chemicals. Nanolex Si3D permanently adheres to the surface due to its composition and ensures long-lasting protection. Nanolex Si3D noticeably increases the paint hardness of the treated surfaces. The layer thickness of Si3D in combination with the sophisticated spatial structure of the Si3D matrix give the coating very good resistance to mechanical abrasion caused, for example, by frequent washing.
