Applying windscreen sealant should not be more complex than cleaning the windscreen.
A quick stop in the pit lane is one of the most important things.
Our racing teams at VLN races and rallies use the windscreen sealant in the run-up to the race. This ensures that
1. the rain runs off quickly during the laps
2. the cleaning during the pit stop is faster, only 1-2 sprays with DM glass cleaner for streak-free cleaning
3. less wear and tear on wipers
4. clear view all the way to the finish
Application smooth on easy off
The application is simple. In addition to the sealant, you need a low-pile microfibre cloth.
The solution is sprayed onto the windows and then evenly distributed and removed with the microfibre cloth.
The product can be layered: i.e. a second application can be made after approx. 30 minutes.
Service life and kilometres are given depending on the vehicle and use!
One can determine an approximate average depending on use: On the company Golf R, from December to the beginning of March with a lot of salt on the road, it was approx. 9500km before a new order was given.
At a VLN race on the Nürburgring, the solution is applied before each race.
When using the wipers in city traffic, you can expect a service life / durability of approx. 5000km.
If necessary, or if the sealant wears off, it can simply be added again - it couldn't be easier.
